Mariscos El Rey 3: Experience Authentic Mexican Seafood in Lakewood

We stopped here by chance and I'm so happy we did. There was a bit of a Problem communicating with the staff because of the language barrier and an extremely loud band. The food here is incredible and they start you off with complimentary chips and salsa. The menu was huge and as far as I could tell everything was fish or seafood related. We got a dozen oysters filled with lime cooked shrimp, bass, octopus, and some other fish. The sauce was great and the oysters were fresh and huge. We also got a half dozen fried oysters. They were wonderful and huge as well. The best I've had in Colorado. The price was only $9.99 Update we stopped in for my birthday and DIANA was amazing! She had good suggestions for the food and also brought me a special cake for my birthday.

Delicious!! I had the Mojo de Ajo Mojarra. Fish was nice and crispy along with the fries, rice salad and tortillas. Can't wait to go back and try more. Pretty big portions, lots of different options.

The experience at this place was amazing honestly, the best mariscos I’ve ever had. My wife had been begging me all week to go out for some fried fish. We found this place on Google and realized it was just a couple of blocks from our home. She ended up extremely happy, and so did I. I ordered the 7 Mares seafood soup and Chicharrones de Pescado both were delicious! The food was excellent, and the bill was surprisingly cheap. This place deserves 10 stars!

Amazing place. Especially if you like seafood. Place was full, meaning the food was good, but still enough tables to be seated quickly. Very tasty margs. My only negative was the music was really loud. It was hard to hear the person sitting across from me. As the crowd died down it got worse. Definitely recommend.

This place is awesome. The food is soooo good and has tons of options and variety from seafood like sushi, to fried fish, to traditional plates. The drinks are amazing too with lots of hand made options and a big menu. The atmosphere is very welcoming and vibrant usually with a band playing traditional Mexican/Latino music and beats, though it can be loud sometimes. I've gone twice and loved it both times. The staff is attentive and friendly. Bring your significant other, friends, or family and it's a great time for all. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back! Key note: Spanish is their primary language but obviously English works too.

I invited my best friend to have lunch at this restaurant. I would highly recommend it very good service restaurant, clean atmosphere lovely and the best piña colada and Stephanie the waitress. She was very very nice to us. I would definitely come back here.
